exchange 2007 sp2 error in  owa:the item that you attempted to access no longer exists
My exchange 2007 sp2 server OS (windows server 2008 ) crashed, after it come back, I found the mail data store can not be mounted, I run eseutil /p and eseutil /r e00 /i , then I am able to mount the data store and make mail server working. But after this I found one user is getting "the item that you attempted to access no longer exists" after login to web mail, he can not open any emails, click any email will get the same message, and do not dispaly email content. Can anyone help on this? Thanks.

Its looking because of /P switch ran on DB which did not repaired DB. Do you have recent backup of this DB, If yes restore it from backup.Anil

Can anyone help on this? A repaired database is an unreliable database. You should make a backup (not an Exchange backup, but a file-level backup of that database now. Then run "isinteg -f -test alltests" on the database. You may have to run that multiple time -- until either the error/warnings/fixes are all zero or until the numbers stop decreasing between runs. Then mount the database and create a new database. Move the mailboxes from the repaired database to the new database and then delete the repaired database. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
